There are three types of meetings.
1. Meeting: people come together. Discuss a problem/topic, find solutions/actions. And then go away to work on them.
2. Greeting: people come together. Discuss something that does not really need a discussion. Feel good about 'doing' something. And then go away to another such meeting.
3. Beating: people come together. Someone starts talking. Suddenly the big boss in the room picks on something and vents out for the rest of the meeting. And then they all go away - wondering what just struck them and 'hoping' to have better luck in the next meeting.
