In highly modular and repeatable jobs:
1+1 = 2
In jobs that are even slightly complex:
1+1 = 3, if you are in a good team
1+1 = 1/2, if you are in a not so good team
Team members intuitively know this.
Managers and leaders need to constantly ask themselves: am I solving my team's problem, or is my team spending time solving me?
