On one of my consulting engagements, I had to synthesize 8 week's worth of my analysis and findings on 2 slides.
It was painful, to say the least.
Learning: It's easy to make things hard, but very hard to make them easy.
Our final presentation to the client had just 6 slides. It was one of the best discussions I remember I ever had with a client till that point.
Learning: when you cut complexity, you create room for conversations.
