We need to stop glorifying failures, because not all failures are created equal.
There are two types of failures.
✅Smart failure:
- You take a bet on something which is by design ambiguous with too many variables.
- You do your best but still fail because of reasons beyond your control.
- You learn your lesson and move on.
🔴Stupid failure:
- You do something that others have already attempted but don't leverage what they have already figured out.
- You don't put in your best and fail because of factors that could well have been planned for.
- You don't learn your lesson and move on to your next foolish adventure.
Failures are the pillars of success but you can't stand a building on pillars made of stupid failures.
