0.000546% to the #finishline.
That's the point in its incredible 3,84,000 km journey when #vikramlander lost contact.
Our pounding hearts sank slowly as we waited on our TV screens to witness that momentous landing.
We missed the #finishline, by a whisker. We missed making history, one may think.
That's not the #truth though.
#Finishline matters only to the bystanders who watch history being made, not to those who make history.
To those who are actually busy making history, it's the #joy of the #journey that matters. Every step in that journey is a victory, is a new learning, is an inspiration for the next.
A finish line to them is just another #milestone in an ongoing journey of #excellence. #Pursuit is their true #passion. #Grit and #determination are their true companions.
History is made everytime we let our indomitable #humanspirit soar high and shoot for the stars (or the #moon!). It's made everytime we challenge and outgrow our limits.
Ask our #ISRO #scientists. Ask any #entrepreneur. Ask an #athlete.
I am proud of what mission #Chandrayaan2 has achieved, what if we didn't see the lander at the finish line!
