When the why is about others

"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why" - Mark Twain

We need to add one more to the list: the day you realize that the 'why' is not about you. It's always about others.
-------------------
This was the core of the message I shared as part of my convocation address to the graduates of the Woxsen University last Saturday.

Spoke about how technology is creating unprecedented opportunities to build a positive future for our planet and its inhabitants. I also emphasized that despite all its mind-boggling advances, technology is just a tool. The time tested advice of mastering the self and winning the trust of others hold more true today than at any other time in the history. I that context, I shared some life advice and stories about the power of authenticity, confidence with humility, entrepreneurship, accountability, and empathy; and how being present in the moment and speaking up when required are under-rated traits that pay rich dividends.
------------------
It was truly a day well spent. Came back impressed with the people I met and learning about the giant leaps Woxsen has already taken in its short years of existence.

Congratulations to Chancellor Praveen K Pula (Veen Pula) and his team for building a world class University here in India. Thank you CEO Vishal Khurma for inviting me.
