The air we breathe today is not the same as yesterday's.
Majority of the cells in our body regenerate every few months/years.
Our dreams today are different from what we had a few years back.
I wonder then: why we humans tend to cling so much to the past - both good and bad.
Past is done and dusted. All you can do is talk about it.
Present is here with all its chaos and beauty. You must live in it and deal with it as it is. You don't really have a choice.
The future excites me the most.
It is open and unbound. You can paint it wild and beautiful in your imagination. And pour your energies to shape it.
When that imagined future arrives, perhaps your hopes and dreams would be different. Because you would be a different - hopefully better - person.
That would be a sign that you have grown.
