After finishing my morning run in the colony park today, I felt a slight ting of envy towards two elderly gentlemen who were walking and happily chit chatting.
While I was in a rush to get back home and get going with my busy day, these seemingly retired friends were in no rush. What a life!
The envy, however, was short lived.
Stepping out of the park, I noticed a few municipal staff busy at their work and some other folks jostling to get into an already crowded bus at a nearby bus stop.
Suddenly, my own life felt like a blessing. I had a cup of hot ginger tea and a warm shower waiting for me at home before I got into a clean car to get to my work. For a moment, it felt like I didn't need anything else to be happy.
Comparisons: not sure they are good or bad?
