11:00 pm. I am wandering frustratingly in the winding corridors of a Bangalore hotel.
It's been a long and tiring day. All I want at this hour is to get to my room and slip into sweet dreams.
I have the room key in my hand.
But as hard as I try, I can't seem to recall my room number.
I curse myself for throwing away the key jacket that had the room number scribbled on it.
After a bit of fumbling around, I give up and decide to go ask the reception.
Finally, as I crash into the bed, a realization dawns on me.
Many a time, we know exactly what we want. And we have with us the key to getting it. We just don't know which door the key would work on.
When that happens, you can either try the key on every door that comes your way or seek help from someone who knows better.
