It has been an interesting, rewarding, and humbling experience collaborating with my long-time friend Prof. Amit Soni to publish my first paper in a research journal.
While I was able to put to use my M&A and IT industry experience, Amit and our other co-author beautifully brought in the rigor of research, wizardry with words, and most importantly, expertise in Econometrics.
The whole process (a long one, I must say!) reaffirmed my belief that no matter how well you think you know a topic, you always enrich yourself and uncover new dimensions when you collaborate with and seek perspectives from people who are 'not like you'.
And when these 'not-like-you' people happen to be good friends with whom you can carelessly drink through the night consumed in seemingly intellectual discussions, the joy of learning knows no boundaries.
