We often associate smartness with ambition.
If you are smart, you must be ambitious. You must want to do more, achieve more, get more - faster.
This is only partly true.
I have worked all my life with supposedly smart people and have known many who do not have much ambition.

It's only the truly, incredibly smart people who have ambition - but not in the way you and I understand it.
There is a different name for their ambition.
It's called Vision.
Ambition is I. Vision is us.
Ambition is push. Vision is pull.
Ambition is pace. Vision is patience.
Ambition is exhausting. Vision is energizing.
Ambition is transient. Vision is transcendent.
