The quiet work that compounds

The time and effort that you spend:

- To thoroughly proofread a deliverable
- To generously mentor a colleague
- To proactively solve issues before they erupt
- To selflessly help someone with something
- To do the right things that won't make headlines

Not many would notice it.

Such time would have zero value if you were to calculate returns on it on a daily basis.

It would have almost infinite value if you were to look at returns on it on a decadal basis.

Good acts are often small, mostly invisible, without any immediate returns.

But they help build you and your character, and multiply like crazy in the long run.
