Some of the smartest people I know have one trait they have mastered really well.
They know how to act dumb:
- when trying to understand something outside their area of competence
- when conceding defeat in an argument that is not headed anywhere
- when bailing out of a battle they don’t want to fight
Ego is the enemy that they avoid at all costs.
